March 2001 Receive planning budget from Chancellor's Office
April 2001 Draft campus planning budget.
Divisions develop budget requests for 20% pool.
May 2001 Conduct budget hearings.
June 2001 Budget Council provides preliminary recommendations to President.
August 2001 Budget Office loads prior year baseline budgets to divisions.
October 2001 Budget Council convenes to:
  • Compare actual Governor's Budget to May Revise.
  • Compare actual fall census date enrollment to enrollment figures used for budget planning.
  • Prepare modifications to recommendations made to President, based upon actual funding and enrollment information.

President considers recommendations of Budget Council, along with other budget information, and approves the distribution of 80% and 20% funding to divisions.
