When an employee is reclassified through the job audit process into a higher classification, a new probationary period may be established. If a new probationary period is established, the probationary performance evaluation process is initiated. If the probationary period is one year, three evaluations are required to be conducted after 3, 6 and 9 months of service in the new classification. If the probationary period is two years, three evaluations are required to be conducted after 6, 12 and 18 months of service in the new classification. An employee whose position has been reviewed and reclassified according to the reclassification review process may be granted a waiver of the full probationary period if the following criteria are fulfilled:
