Academic Computing and Media (ACM) has developed and will maintain the Web Page Accessibility Standards in conjunction with a university technology oversight committee and the Campus Accessibility Advisory Board. The approved Standards will be available electronically on the Academic Computing and Media web site: http://acm.csusb.edu/webaccessibility and are available in alternative formats from ACM.
This policy maintains University Web Page Accessibility Standards compliance for all web pages that officially represent California State University, San Bernardino. Any web page that contains information necessary for students, faculty, staff, and interested parties to conduct business with the University, and employees of the University to complete required work, must comply with the accessibility standards.
Academic Computing and Media will provide training, tools, information and assistance on how to comply with the standards. The administrator of a site (i.e., person who authorizes the publication of a site) is responsible for ensuring that all compliancy corrections are applied to the site in a timely fashion.
If a page contains an element necessary for conveying required information that has been identified as inaccessible, but cannot be made accessible with current technology, then a general description of the content and purpose of the element, as well as whom to contact for more information must be provided.
